Our charity policy

A proportion of our profits are donated to selected local, national and international charities. Charities we support must show a keen respect for the environment and share our philosophy.

Our nominated charities for 2008/2009 are.

Local

Agecroft Rowing club

There has been rowing in Manchester and Salford since 1823, with more than 15 clubs during the 1860's. Agecroft was formed by the gradual merging of these Irwell based clubs. Agecroft was formed in Oct 1861, which makes Agecroft one of the oldest open membership rowing clubs in the world.

Due to our close proximity to the river Irwell where Agecroft R.C are based we are keen to see the River used recreationally after the massive environmental damaged caused to it by industry since the Industrial Revolution.
